baby's first words?!! I'm a mommy blogger now I guess

Just so that I can have it down– and y'all can be aware too– today the little miss was being held for a nap and when she woke up she looked at me and said "tayt choo" which I think clearly means "thank you."

We had a great day adventuring at the mall and she watched me eat french fries with much wonder in her eyes. She licked the salt off of my fingers and wanted more, and when we gave her the mushed up potato part she held it out on her tongue like she wasn't sure what to do. So we took it off.

Then when we got home she was fed a little bit of strawberry yogurt off of her dad's fingers, and she enjoyed it very much.

After her bath, she got handed to me and she said to her dad "tayt choo" again!! So in my heart, those are her first words. "Thank you." Very apt because she hears me say it all the time. We have an attitude of gratitude in this house.

Thanks for coming along with my excitement.
